Is this something to be concerned about, getting AP before EAD , both are of course 124 days since receipt date.

You can use the unexpired H-1 visa UNLESS your prior employer has withdrawn the underlying petition in which case the visa is void.

At last I was able to book it. We need to complete all the steps in order to get the page for selecting dates. Problem I had was..while filling up ds157, I use to see the code script:).
I had used the same website earlier but never had to lose patience like this time.
Once I finished giving the courier details , I was presented with date selection. Also why do they take petitioner details...??..I had to give my I797 details...??I hope they do all the required checking before I visit them.
Here are the tips while using the online appointment.
1. Don't expect the process to be smooth. Set aside 1-1.5 hours for filling the form.
2. Use IE only and make sure you enable pop ups for the vfs website.
3. After you complete all the 3 steps(DS156,157 and petitioner details) you will be presented with date selection.
Citinri and vsf website are the worst website I have seen ever since I started to browse�.(more than a decade)

They said that they would request an exception in our case. We are going to request that based on our original submission date that our pending case have a current priority date. All dates were current for our case up until the April visa bulletin.
I am really hoping that USCIS sees this error. Has anyone had any experience with USCIS? And were they cooperative?

However, because of the delay caused I missed the window for filing I-485. I had to wait for more than a year, till my PD became current to apply for I-485.

Had USCIS been that efficient to update our cases with in a couple of days of change request, we wouldn't have this messy immigration system. Lately, USCIS has been working aggresively to reduce the backlog of pending 485 applications applied during the July.2007 fiasco, by processing those applications. The "processing" means validating the application and the documentary evidences. If everything is fine with the application and the applicant's PD is also current, USCIS approves the I-485. If the PD is not current, USCIS preadjudicates the application and the application is kept pending until the PD becomes current. This triggers a soft update in LUD in I-485; besides, there are also several other scenarios that might trigger soft LUD in I-485.

Hi, this is my situation:
- I have L2 Visa, because my husband has L1B Visa. This year, the visa expires and we have 3 new options: extension for L1 and L2 Visa, H1 and H4Visa or Green Card.

1. Which of the 3 options do you recommend us to get? Why?

i think you should ask the same question to your lawyer with the same tone. you would get a huge bill seperately for your tone other than charging you for the answer.

Here is an idea: say we have roughly 500 members out of this vast array of 35000+ members who have the heart and the will to contribute. we get $2000 from each and place it in an escrow trust account that does not release money for expenditure unless we reach $1 mln
We need to identify number of people who can really make a big chunk of one time contribution (like $500,$1000,$2000), and we should aim at scoring atleast 2000 committed members, so that per person share would be $500. Once we have the pledge from committed members; IV shall announce the fund raising day (instead of fund raising thread) in advance, all committed members will contribute the same day (optimistic).

Platinum amex, for first 2 years of membership, gives me 3 thankyou points per $ spent (5 for bonus categories of gas, supermarket and drugstore). Premierpass I think is 1 and 3 (not sure).
I think there is an annual limit per year - never needed to worry about it.
You should be able to find the details at citibank.com.
I personally use Platinum amex as my primary card and premierpass elite as the secondary for places where American Express is not accepted. I've already got > $1400 in GCs and other stuff from thankyou network between myself and my wife. This $1400 includes the $500 from airline bonus points for my india trip.

First option is always to try to blow it out. Next, in my mind, is an arctic butterfly (a bush that works on the principle of static cling, and no chance of leaving a residue). The lens pen was originally developed for lenses, but has recently come into vogue for sensors. Finally, a wet solution applied with a pad. I consider a wet method the last resort, due to experience with streaking (No, I don't streak, it's from the fluid. Oh, I guess y'all figured that out. :) )
