no. i tried that as i saw a lot of people had that problem on the 2010 version but no luck.

It doesn't require any hardware changes. All Broadcom WiFi chips that Apple uses already support WAPI.

The SL disc you have may not have the version of OS X needed for your MBA. MBA shipped after SL was released this e.g. 10.6.0 may not work. Call Apple and ask them to send you a replacement installation media, it shouldn't cost more than 20$ or so.

Oh, ok.
How about designing a new packaging for tea bags, something that's unique and makes it easy to pull out a single bag without opening a box. While not necessary, I think it'd be cool to see a new design for that.

I'm a little confused, I understand the OSX and bootcamp win7 on the SSD but why are you partitioning the 750GB HDD? You might want to format the 750GB as mac osx journaled and get macdrive for win7, that way windows can write to both the bootable osx and the 750GB drive.
I have one drive with 3 partitions. SL, Lion and win7 and can share files between each OS. Just a suggestion... :)
I understand that part of the equation, but I was wondering if windows would give me the option to install programs (like office and photoshop) to the second hard drive. For example, would the installer be able to tell that it is a hard drive that windows can use to install programs?

Like people have said, no reason to limit it to NA up to now ...
Dodgy methods? Couldnt you have just signed up for a US iTunes account and downloaded it, then switched back to your normal one? That's how most non-US people got it easly.

The only thing i would worry about is if Nintendo pulls a M$ and when/if they release online games that they won't let you online because you modified your hardware.

Aye, it seems a shame to force iOS developers to update their machines (admittedly old machines, but still) to coincide with a new desktop iOS - but I guess that's the case with such a closed development environment.
It'll be a Mac Mini for me I imagine :) Still I also suspect I could run Xcode 4.0.x on a Snow Leopard machine for some time before it became a real issue...Hmmm...just timelining lol

I'm just a designer, this is the wrong forum for this question although it's been helpful in defining what it is you're trying to achieve. I would create a new thread in the OS X or perhaps the App forum that's specifically to do with the scripting needed to parse your text file and produce new files based on those entries. Once you've got a bunch of files with the correct names that Photoshop can open and batch process to the required format, the rest is a cakewalk.
PDFs might be valuable in the process because you can natively produce them within OS X from text files and then also open them with Photoshop to convert them to what you need.

I dont understand why you insist on spending $60+ on a converter board and bracket...everyone including myself have a lot of success with the one from smk312 on ebay and I believe its $20-$28. There are really no electronics on that board, it basically just converts from one plug to another.

You missed the real story -- in the release notes Apple explain that they're deprecating the Apple maintained version of Java:

Apple have provided a mechanism for installing 3rd party JDKs (in particular OpenJDK), but it likely won't work with current versions of Java IDEs (Netbeans, Eclipse etc) until they're updated to work with the new paths.
I wonder if this is anything to do with Oralce?
