Hi, I have unsuccessfully searched the internet for the past 3 hours trying to find a way to jailbreak my ipod in order to play NES games. Help please? I have a PC, if that makes a difference.
Also, does jailbreaking lower the battery life.

Well I was going to get a PB but I just can't see a justification for the price on the 15" 1ghz even if I would prefer portability so I've decided to get a G4 PM. My question is if panther will take advantage of a second cpu, otherwise I'll just get a SP.

I got some of the stuff in these pictures.
My mum came over to visit me in Finland and she bought me the corner light (it cycles through colours) She also bought me the cushions on the sofa.
I got the curtains from Ikea yesterday along with the plant, plus I also got the LED dioders behind the monitors.
All in all a nice lot of stuff to make my living room more of a warm place to be.
I now just have to get my artwork on the wall, next week I will get some frames in the sales.

To place the blame for rape, sexual assault on women is ob-seen. Not only that but it propagates some of the ideas which encourage sexual assault. The idea that a women is "asking for it" because of how they dress.
Stating that a girl/women caused her own rape because of what she was wearing is exactly what Islamic extremists say when a women is assaulted for failing to wear her burka...

How anyone could seriously think that 16 years behind bars, even with a television, is a cushy way to spend a life is beyond me. Who here would volunteer?
:eek: you've got to be joking right now. it's not supposed to be cushy, it's supposed to be horrible, and it's supposed to last until the day they die if they don't get the death penalty. before we were talking about life in prison without parole versus the death penalty, and now you're saying that someone who is currently death penalty worthy in the states should be put in prison for 16 years and thats sufficient? Let's be clear because i don't want to accuse you of implying something you're not. Is this or is this not what you are saying?

A friend of mine brought up that early in her youth, she played a game for Mac on a floppy disk called Jenny's Journeys. Has anyone else heard of this? Do you know where to buy/download it?

The SE/30 is surprisingly desirable among classic 68k guys. Unlike the regular SE, its much faster and supports 128MB of RAM. If its as nice as you say, I would be well over $100 for it.

M-Audio sonica when I'm using speakers and whatever is built into my Logitech USB headset.
As a premium choice, I would be using an M-Audio Audiophile card, internal or external, as it seems to be the best of the bunch available for Macs.

In doing some research, I found out that the basic Pioneer DVR-111 series SuperDrives Apple uses (some G4/all G5/all Intel towers) have the hardware capability to do LabelFlash direct-to-disk-surface label burning with the compatible disks. LabelFlash is the NEC-originated competitor to LightScribe, does basically the same thing on LightScribe-compatible disks.
On the Windows side, there are lots of sites out there that talk about flashing the ROMs to enable the feature for certain revision letters & firmware versions of the DVR-111 drives, while other versions of the drive (DVR-111L) are already fully capable (no clue on the ones Apple shipped with the Macs -- I stopped paying attention when I found there were ZERO software apps to support it on the Mac side that I could find).
Personally, I would really like to see Apple provide the feature as an OS-bundled utility app or added-feature in an existing Apple burner app (like the one in the iLife bundle).
As of March '05, Roxio also said they were going to support LightScribe (and possibly LabelFlash) in their future Mac releases, but I didn't see any mention of it in the feature sets of Toast & Toast Titanium 6 & 7, both of which were either updated or released after that date. Theoretically, they could also support LightScribe (if licensed) to burn images into unused portions of the dataside (as could any other burner app), to create a label effect (see http://www.yamahamultimedia.com/yec/tech/discta2_01.asp for details on the technology).
The epson CD-printer solution seems a bit silly for my uses, if I have no other use for the printer, mostly because of the consumables costs (and, indeed, with a big HP laser color printer here, I have zero other use for the Epson and am not thrilled by their putty-style inks and subsequent print head maintenance/cleaning processes that waste a goodly chunk of the ink reservior).
As for the sharpie comments, I create CD's & DVD's for clients and would prefer to present a more "professional image" on the disks than hand-written solutions. I was printing color labels through my laser printer and setting them in (usually using Avery CD labels), but some of the clients, esp. those with very thin portables seemed to be having issues with the thicker disks as a result, so I went back to sharpies as a general rule. The ability to do LabelFlash disks with hardware I already own would be great...

I don't think this one has been mentioned.... I think Microsoft's Remote Desktop is a wonderful app. I have had my iBook for almost a year now and Remote Desktop was one of the major reasons I decided to delve into the Mac world. I go to a college with abundant wireless access and I can basically use my Mac as both a Mac and PC (Remote Desktop allows you to remotely log in to a windows machine). And don't just on me for this.....there are some programs at school we have to use that are Windows only.... :rolleyes:

It's a complete replacement of the iOS binaries and Apple-supplied apps.
I think I pointed this out earlier, but if you look back at the recent WP7 update fiasco where a bunch of Samsung hardware got bricked by the update, you'll understand why a patch might not be a great idea. Esp. given the number of jailbroken iPhones and iPads out there, that don't have the base OS that a patch might expect...
