U can get an infopass and get the receipt number.
Now for AC121 u need to have the job similar to the one mentioned in ur labor/perm. So u need that information in order to make sure the new job matches previous one.

One of my cousin works in oracle and he has mentioned to me that oracle is not filing in EB2 category (they used to file before), not sure is it for every one or depends on team to team or person to person.
I would advice you better check in advance as soon as you have job confirmation

Hostettler (the chairman of the House Immigration Subcommittee) was detained for carrying a loaded firearm inside an airport. We had the same situation and ones got rejected.
By some reason, the software carried my last year's AGI into my wife's last year AGI box. I corrected it and got accepted on second time efile. I used turbo tax software.

You cant file H1 on your own. You need ur employers signature on it and ur employer has to file the petition. Even if you beat all that it is still very very risky to file on your own.
I strongly discourage the word "Attorney" for everything. Just because of memebers like kriskris these Attroney's are living lavishly. What the heck these Attroneys know that we don't know. Don't we know how to write our names? Don't we know how to fill an application form? Please stop saying "Attroney" for everything. These are not complex things. Please note according to one survey 70% of Americans don't know how to fill Bank application. Attroneys are just making the money out of this situation.

the above scenario was if you were mnaintaing H1 status. if you are working using EAD then ofcourse your current status wont be H1 bur AOS hence you will send proof of that.
The idea is to show that you are here legally and if working prrof of that authorization thorough a visa or EAD.

However, as I said, I did not sign any I-9 to confirm the H1B status, neither I did for the EAD (employment based I-485 pending). Given this circumstance, do I need to re-validate my H1B? I guess HR should have asked me to complete a new I-9 for the H1B. I am thinking USCIS colects the I-9's periodically so that they know how I worked, am I correct?
I dont think USCIS collects I-9's. Companies just have the have them on record so that they can prove compliance when asked to do so. You should mail your lawyer about the situation and how you can get back on the H1 status (Don't just update the I-9 again without the lawyer advice).

Looks at the pointless argument going over between messers snram4 and u.misc. Check their history and make up your own mind. I cannot imagine someone with any semblance of maturity could engage in just hideously low level argument. So obviously there is an agenda at work. To each is own . But please, its funny only if your audience finds it funny and there is nothing funny about the Feb visa bulletin no matter which part of the world you are from.

I'm not sure what made you decide for CP. There maybe valid reasons or you maybe misguided.
I have heard some people use the CP route thinking that once the dates get current, they will get Green Card faster than AOS route. Some people use it as a back-up. But I am not sure what made you opt for this if you knew you will deny yourself EAD and AP benefits.

This stinky ba%^#@rd speaks loud and confuses people a lot with out giving the clear picture of broken legal immigration and with out mentioning the pain of long waiting legal immigrants (Current system neglects and keeps honestly taxpaying and law abiding legal immigration based applicants , this jerk never mention the facts of the broken system, it's taking 15 yrs to get a green card for legal immigrant to become permanent resident which is unfair and keeps that individual and applicant family in the state of limbo). He always mixes legals with illegals (undocumented) and confuses all with his border protection preachings and with out respecting the country's backbone of business immigration.

yes, you can. I did it last summer. the first officer at the border did not know the rule and said we could not enter, then an older officer came and said we could. they let us in with expired visa but approved h-1b extension notice

Not sure as to "how long" but AFAIK , but when a person doesnt work in the same location as mentioned in LCA of H1B, an amendment needs to be filed. I would talk to a reliable attorney.
